Victoria Jean Verokosky

May 18, 1975 - January 16, 2014

Vicki was born May 18, 1975 already in possession of her angel wings. On January 16, 2014 our sweet angel was called away from this earth to spread her wings in heaven. She spent her final days as she did most, with her parents at home. Although Vicki’s life was cut short, the quality of her presence surpasses her quantity of time here with us. Vicki touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She always had a smile on her face, never complained and was excited to meet new people. Her warm heart and loving personality was a gift she shared with everyone she met. She embraced each day as a new experience and she was never capable of hatred or anger. Vicki loved spending time with animals, praying, singing and drawing. Vicki’s memory will be forever cherished and always missed. Vicki is survived by her loving parents, James and Ronna Lee Verokosky, siblings Christine Verokosky, Lawrence Verokosky, Jeanine (Brad) Harrison, Jamie (Frank) Lewgood, nephew Ethan Lewgood, biological parents, Donald (Shirley) McCann and Carol (Ron) Hamm, biological sibling Tina(Rob) Timmons as well as her foster brothers and sisters, and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Divine Liturgy for Vicki will be held on Thursday January 23, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. from St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 752- 14th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Father Ivan Nahachewsky officiating.Interment will follow the service at the South Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of tributes, donations in memory of Vicki may be made to the St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church- Renovation Fund 752 14th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 3M1.
