It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Eric George Boettcher.

Dad was known to many as a kind hearted man who was always smiling.  He was a gentle giant and a great friend.  Eric loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed playing poker with his friends who knew him as Big “E”.  Dad looked forward to the annual fishing and hunting trips with his Boy, his grandsons, brothers and many friends along the way.  For the last 20 years, he drove semi for I&C Farms out of Domremy and the Boutin’s became like a second family to him.

Eric is survived by his children Jordan Boettcher and Jennie Roberts (nee Boettcher); grandchildren:  Mason Boettcher, Angelina Kaparidi, Tanner Roberts and Emma Roberts; siblings: Barb Debruin, Sharon Brown, Russ (Heather) Boettcher, Fred Boettcher, Janet (Mitch) Altstadt; brother-in-law Everett Altstadt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eric was predeceased by his parents George and Mary Boettcher; sister Penny Altstadt; brothers-in-law Art Debruin and Ken Brown. 

Dad’s last days were spent with his children, family and friends by his side.  As per his request, no service will be held.
